Beginner Crochet: Dishcloth

This class is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone who wants a refresher on the basics of crochet!

You’ll learn the fundamentals of crochet while creating a simple, useful dishcloth that you can take home and use.

Please plan to attend both classes.

Techniques You’ll Learn

• How to hold your hook and yarn
• Slip knot
• Chain stitch
• Single crochet
• Turning your work
• Working even rows
• Finishing and weaving in ends

Supplies Needed

• Crochet hook: 4.5–5 mm
• Worsted-weight cotton yarn: Cascade Nifty Cotton is recommended
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

Supplies can be purchased at Alna Junes Cottage before class. Supplies purchased for this class receive 10% off.

Class Registration
Registration reserves your spot in the class, so please make sure you’re able to attend before booking. Class fees are non-refundable.

Can’t Make It?
If something comes up and you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. While class fees cannot be refunded, we’ll always do our best to work with you when circumstances allow.

Class Changes
Occasionally, a class may need to be rescheduled due to instructor availability or unforeseen circumstances. If Alna Junes Cottage needs to make a change, registered students will be notified as soon as possible.
